FOOD RUNNER (PART-TIME) - MTZ

ABOUT THE JOB:

The Food Runner helps connect the kitchen and taproom teams to ensure every food order reaches the guest quickly, accurately, and with care. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role where teamwork, communication, and attention to detail are essential. You’ll help keep service moving while supporting both the kitchen and beertender teams in creating a clean, welcoming experience for our guests.

YOU WILL:

• Deliver food orders quickly and accurately from the kitchen to guests, ensuring orders are complete and presented properly.

• Serve as a communication link between the kitchen and taproom teams, helping keep food service organized and moving efficiently.

• Stage and organize food orders to support accurate and timely service during busy shifts.

• Support the kitchen and beertender teams with service-related tasks as needed.

• Maintain a clean and organized taproom, including clearing, cleaning, and resetting tables throughout service.

• Help create a positive guest experience by being friendly, attentive, and responsive to guest needs.

• Communicate any order issues or guest concerns to the appropriate kitchen or taproom team member.

• Work as a team during busy shifts and events, stepping in where needed to keep the brewery running smoothly.
  

YOU ARE:

• Currently hold or a willingness to receive Certified California Food Handlers Card

• Must be 18+ years old

• Physical ability and stamina to carry trays and stand for long hours

• Multi-tasking abilities

• Good oral communication skills

• Proactive

• Willing to learn

• Hours Available:

  • Friday: 4 to 10:00PM

  • Saturday: 12 to 10:00PM

  • Sunday: 11:30 to 5:30PM
