San Francisco & North Bay Sales Rep

ABOUT THE JOB:

As Del Cielo’s North Bay / San Francisco Sales Representative, you’ll be a key ambassador for our brewery as we continue to grow our presence throughout the market. You’ll build relationships with local bars, restaurants, bottle shops, and other key accounts while introducing new customers to our beer and brand. This is a relationship-driven role with plenty of independence, community interaction, and opportunity to grow with a small and dedicated sales team.

YOU WILL:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with wholesale accounts, developing a diverse and growing customer base within your territory.

  • Act as a Del Cielo brand ambassador by representing our beer, values, and brewery in the market.

  • Develop new business opportunities by identifying and establishing relationships with prospective accounts.

  • Conduct tastings, staff trainings, and account visits to build product knowledge, engagement, and sales.

  • Ensure Del Cielo beers are properly represented in accounts, including labeling, storage, presentation, and service.

  • Manage account relationships and follow-up, identifying opportunities to increase placements, sales, and long-term account growth.

  • Monitor account health and collections, including following up on delinquent accounts when needed.

  • Support deliveries and keg drops to accounts when needed.

  • Represent Del Cielo at beer festivals, industry events, and community events as needed.

  • Collaborate with the broader sales and brewery team to support company goals and identify opportunities for growth.


REQUIREMENTS:

  • One to two years of proven results in sales; beer industry experience required.

  • Availability to travel to areas outside of the region as the market expands.

  • Must possess a valid driver's license and be at least 21 years of age.

  • Must have a good driving record.

  • Ability to handle kegs and cases of beer using a dolly. Ability to push/pull ~160 pounds (1/2 barrel kegs)

  • Only highly self-motivated, organized, dedicated independent individuals need apply.

  • Must live in San Francisco or North Bay Area


SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Passion for craft beer and general knowledge and understanding of beer styles.

  • Strong communication and sales skills.

  • Good interpersonal skills, including professionalism with a customer service focus.

  • Good time management, planning and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.

  • Self motivated with the ability to work independently and under minimal supervision.

  • Good computer and phone skills with the ability to complete administrative work as associated with the job.

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

  • Availability to work a flexible schedule including some evenings and weekends as needed.

  • Any brewing experience is a plus.

  • Desire to have fun on the job.
